The Riordan Action Network is a grassroots organization dedicated to the preservation of Riordan Mansion State Historic Park in Flagstaff, Arizona.
This group of private citizens from Arizona and other states formed in 2009 when severe state-level budget cuts threatened closure of the park. Every dollar raised by RAN through regular donations from patrons or through periodic fundraising events is used directly for the park. We are comprised totally of volunteers; there is no paid staff.
Our mission
RAN promotes, advocates and raises funds on behalf of this treasured Flagstaff historic site. Every dollar raised by RAN through regular donations from patrons or through periodic fundraising events is used directly for the park.
Our program priorities
In addition to providing funding to keep the park open, to fund routine and emergency maintenance, and to preserve artifacts, RAN is committed to increasing outreach to schools to help students of all ages learn more about Flagstaff and Arizona history through the stories that come alive in the mansion.
Our partner
RAN is a proud affiliate of the Northern Arizona Pioneers’ Historical Society (NAPHS), a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization. NAPHS was formed in 1905 with the mission of preserving Flagstaff’s early history. Riordan family members have been on the NAPHS board since its inception.
